Gary is a senior sales associate and has been with NSP3 for 11 years. Gary works closely with large school districts and larger park departments to create unique play spaces for children of all abilities. He is well versed in the playground guidelines and brings his enthusiasm for play to each and every project. Gary’s dedication to his sales position shows as he has led all sales at NSP3 for the last six years.
Spencer Lane has been with NSP3 for 5 years and has developed into our resident shade structure expert. He handles a majority of our California DSA School projects throughout the State. Spencer has experience with the complexities of shade projects that require engineering, permits and special inspections. He served a four year tour overseas in the Navy and brought his attention to detail and regimented work ethic to our NSP3 team.
Jesse previously worked for NSP3 as a sales associate from 2006 to 2008 before serving a four year enlistment with the Air Force. Jesse returned to our sales team in 2015 and now oversees our technical design department and manages the larger projects that flow through the office. Jesse obtained a degree in psychology and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration.
Robin Comer joined our team in 2013 and brought with her a vast knowledge of order processing and shipping procedures. Robin is responsible for all NSP3 orders, accounts receivable and accounts payable. She is in daily contact with our shipping companies and manufacturers to ensure smooth orders and deliveries. Robin is an integral part of every project that takes place at NSP3 and we are happy to have her on our team!
Nate brings high energy and enthusiasm for play to our industry leading sales team. His dedication to his projects extends from his background in competitive swimming and Cross Fit. In his 3 years with NSP3, he has become well-rounded in shade projects as well as larger, turn-key playground renovations. Nate works with scores of California construction companies as he has mastered the intricacies of public bid work.
Kyle, our newest sales associate, started in customer service handling replacement parts for playgrounds. Through that experience, he literally learned the “nuts and bolts” and inner workings of playground components. Kyle grew up in Southern Oregon, only 1 hour away from the PlayCraft playground factory, which makes him a perfect fit for our playground team. Kyle has teamed up with senior associate, Gary Kimbrough to help meet customer needs in a large territory in California.
Melissa started with NSP3 in early 2017 and has been making a big impact since joining our sales team.
Melissa has worked in the sales arena since 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration.
Melissa comes to NSP3 as a territory manager and she will be covering the northern counties of California.
In her free time, you can find Melissa fishing, hiking, hunting and playing with her young daughter.
Cindy is a licensed California attorney and has managed the daily operations of the Company since 2001. Her legal background contributed to building a financially strong Company that has now grown into an industry leading supplier of outdoor recreation equipment. Cindy oversees all operations, including managing the Corporate office in Redding, California. Construction contracts and project management are some of her primary responsibilities to insure successful installations. Cindy is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a full softball scholarship, a National Championship Title and All American honors at third base.

Dena started “North State Playgrounds” in the basement of her house in 2000. As a start-up she was the owner, salesperson, customer service agent and the billing department. The Company grew quickly and later became known as “NSP3” due to an expanding product line and extended geographical reach. Dena’s first sale was a 5-row bleacher unit, and to date, NSP3 has sold more than $70 million in outdoor products into California.
Dena graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1991 where she was a star pitcher for the nationally ranked Cowgirl’s softball team.
